High Tech Hillbilly

At the Derby City Classic in 2007, Touring Professional Player, Charlie “Hillbilly” Bryant logged more hours introducing his manuscript than he did actually engaged in matches.  It was praised as the industry’s first text book for the fundamentals of pool.  Sure that he had a product that would sell; Bryant began to seek out the financial backing he needed to begin production.  With each potential investor wanting everything short of his soul signed over in blood, the outcome began to look bleak and it was filed away until the opportunity would arise.

Later that year, Charlie met the love of his life and his equal in creative vision, Heather.  Together, they came up with an idea that would have the public as excited as they were when the manuscript was first shown…lessons streamed over the internet and available at insanely low prices.

The service will consist of one to two hour shows answering situational questions submitted by viewers via email as well as topics from his book.  Other professional players, coaches and industry representatives have been invited to participate and have accepted with great anticipation.  Examples of some of the initial episodes are basic skills (for those just starting out as well as seasoned players who wish to refresh their fundamentals), One Pocket strategies, understanding safety play and much more.  Breaking and racking are some of the most sought after topics and at the request of those who want to better understand fouls, there will even be a show featuring referees explaining how to make the call. 

With the first episode on file, the goal is to produce one to two new videos a month, building a library that is accessible 24/7 to audiences world wide.

Dreamline Promotions, who will produce the series, has March 2012 as the proposed date for the debut.  Information, show schedules & guest appearances will be posted on Bryant’s website, www.hillbillyonthehill.com.    With a star studded line-up and topics that are sure to improve everyone’s understanding of the game, you can’t afford to miss out.
